UFO’s and strange events
Ignorant people see life as either existence or
non-existence, but wise men see it beyond both existence
and non-existence to something that transcends them both;
this is an observation of the Middle Way.
Gotama Buddha
...In dream consciousness...we make things happen by wishing them, because we are not only the observer of what we experience but also the creator. In our creativity we prolong the magic action of the Creator of All in the overflow of His imagination, which is all that reality is, or ever will be.
Pir Vilayat Khan
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.
Henry W. Longfellow
Lisa investigated UFO activity. Old paintings in churches and galleries had strange disks and rockets zooming above in the skies. Sightings were reported for hundreds of years through history and today the brave souls who still report did so in the knowing that the costs to their reputations and families would be akin to outright attack.
The more Lisa learnt, the more she realised that she knew very little. Even the sciences and knowledge on her own planet were largely still unknown to her. She couldn’t shake off the feeling that UFO activity were well known to governments and that meetings had taken place between the visitors and the leaders.
Lisa was humbled by the sheer size of knowledge she did not know. She had learnt to be enquiring and open minded in her searchings. She had long ago shrugged off any feelings of self knowing arrogance in her quest to learn. And she took these same outlooks into her searching of the stars. Hers was a need to understand and to fit in new learning into a vast puzzle of reality.
Lisa knew the published maths. Science often stated the number of stars they could see. Science calculated the number of stars that could support life and planetary systems such as ours into the billions. Not millions but billions. Once again Lisa saw the controlling hand of man made faith stating that life could only exist on one planet in all the cosmos and that planet happened to be ours. Lucky us she thought with a smile.
The odds of the universe or the myriad of galaxies existing even at all are ignored with a dismissive gesture. Yet the odds that we humans were the only ones or life force anywhere were far higher odds. Against us.
When Lisa gazed at clear night skies, or saw photographs taken from space, she marvelled at the complexity and the beauty. The vastness, the silence and the structure. Even the majestic dance of our own planets around the sun filled her with awe and insignificance.
And she knew deeply that none of this was some random chance or accident. And neither were we. And as with everything she saw, all was in balance or striving for balance, all was cycling and all returned to the same origin/starting point.
So the possibility of other inhabited planets was in the billions. And if the percentage of those having higher life form intelligence resulted in only a few thousand worlds, then the idea of us being the only form of life is the highest arrogance a logical mind could have.
But the oddest thing of all that Lisa witnessed was the organised ridicule and secrecy adopted by governments worldwide over the issue. Any person that spoke out or reported UFO sightings was rarely afforded the respect or scientific enquiry one would normally expect. The governments were desperately trying to avoid and hide something that they don’t want out in the open. Was Lisa paranoid? If she was, it was due to the numerous instances of when governments tried to hide things only to be found out later.
Many native groups worldwide freely discussed UFO happenings. Many civilisations constructed buildings and pyramids that defy today’s science. The skills of many cultures to map star systems and to describe now known solar systems were done without the aid of telescopes.
So! Lisa mused. Just who were these visitors we think are from the stars. What is their purpose, their mission? Are they from the stars at all? It was very possible that they were even man made or even some inner earth advanced culture. Lisa discounted nothing until she knew the real goings on.
One thing Lisa did do however was to keep her mind open.
And she was learning from reports all over the world that UFO sightings were increasing at a fast rate. And so was the activity of comets, asteroids, shooting stars and fire balls. The reports of houses being hit by space rocks were increasing too. And once again, the small town newspapers that reported all of these events went unnoticed by the larger mainstream media outlets. It was as if the main stream not only avoided reporting and investigating, but they purposely would not report on the mysteries. And that was a huge clue for Lisa as a newspaper that prints a mystery is always bought by an enquiring public. An immediate ‘best seller’.
But Lisa could not nor would not discount the possibility that these strange craft were coming through some interdimensional portal. Maybe they weren’t from space at all. Maybe the craft were needed for life support systems for the inhabitants whilst they were here in our dimension. Very much like a submarine exploring the ocean depths. The oft reported instances of how these craft defied inertia and how they appeared and disappeared as if sliding in and out of our realm caused Lisa to try and answer this most exquisite of puzzles.
And were all the stories of lizard type beings that had been reported over thousands of years to be discounted? Lisa wondered if these Lizzies played a role in guiding and manipulating mankind. Were they friend or foe she wondered? Going by reports of cattle mutilations and abductions it appeared that once again something did not have humanities interests at heart.
Lisa decided that the two possibilities that were probably most true were that the craft were from outer space or from another dimension. Were they friend or foe?
But for now, she had to be patient as the riddle would be solved sooner than she thought.
